What's missing in this picture?
Not how I want to spend my afternoon! A few weeks ago, after moving the cars around the garage, I noticed a small puddle of coolant under the Corvette. Figured a hose clamp needed snugged a bit, no big deal.
Wrong! I couldn't locate the problem with the radiator in the car -- just knew that it was on the driver side. Turns out the driver side tank let loose from the core and under pressure would weep coolant. Arrggghhh!
The radiator was brand new when we put the car back on the road 4 years ago. This is payback for going the copper-brass route and not dropping $525.00 on a Be-Cool. I was able to get the tank repaired and it pressure tested fine.
The funny part is that during the rebuild the car earned it's nickname while trying to install the radiator. My friend called the car a "c*cksucker!" in a moment of frustration. The name has stuck. Now, four years later I am right back at it -- the name calling should start later tonight.

Don't I wish. She's a .060 over 350 running Vortec heads, flat top pistons, and a Performer intake, pushing power through a close ratio Muncie to a 3.55 rear.
1974 - First year for front and rear urethane bumper covers and last year before they installed cats and dropped the power back. Also the last year of the big block in the C3 for those that came as L-88's. (Not this one - she's an L-82 - hi-po small block originally).

no problem if you don't make it to ZigZags. I've not made it the previous 3-4 times they've had it.

Show starts at noon. You don't have to enter your car, but it doesn't cost anything either I don't think. Its just the 'locals' who bring out their cars. It's a shame that Gordon Martin (old fella in town here) broke his leg/hip, he's got a lot of OLD stuff (like 20-30's era stuff).
