Any job is a good job when you don't have a job. Go get a job!

Getting a GOOD job is hard at 16. I say go do some kind of consruction. Thats what I did when I was your age, you can make moocho bucks with the long hours... and they usually pay you something better than minimum wage for breaking your back. Other wise, at 16, your gonna be hard pressed. Not to piss in your wheaties or anything, just saying.

The man speaks truth. 16 sucks, been there, done that. Had to work fast food, while a horrible job, it was experience and the people were fun to work with (what the hell, why not, they pissed off as much as i did!).

Just dont work at a movie theater. It sucks you work every friday and saturday night. They will piss on you every chance they get. I worked construction for a summer, work is hard but money is good. Now I work at a body shop, thats not soo bad. decent money and easy work.

Yeah... have you thought about lifeguarding? You don't do much and it usually pays well above minimum wage. Get hired by a company that does the private pools at neighborhoods though, those are the ones who pay well. Places like White Water (water park) will pay you minimum wage and the guarding job you get there would require more than just sitting around... I haven't worked at a water park, but from friends who have worked at places like that and from personal experience, there are a large amount of idiots who think water parks are okay even though they can't swim

A house construction crew is a great way to go...one that does a lot of houses. My buddy started on one at 16, when he turned 18 and was legally able to work all the hours. He already knew a lot of shit, got hired full time and at a hire wage rate cause he was not a green foot.

Then why would you change jobs? If it works for you and you get pretty decent money for a 16 year old then whats the point?
