Whats the difference?

We have many younger members. Some think a Socialist is somebody that doesn't like George Bush and Canada is a state. Many times I see true confusion on what is a liberal and what is a conservative. So allow me to give you some examples of the difference between the two.

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn`t buy one.
If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn`t eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned
for everyone.

If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better
his situation.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches
channels.
Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion
silenced. (Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!)

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about
shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs
and is embarrassed.
If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's
in labor and then sues.

i agree with nearly everything on there except the bold print because i think its flip flopped a lil. The conservatives from what i've seen are very intolerant of homos and want them to dissappear.

Conservatives i think are more pro censorship then anything. The FCC has all kinds of regulations on programming because of conservatives. BUT im soooooo for TURNING THE FUCKIN DIAL TO SOMETHING ELSE IF YOU DONT LIKE WHAT YOU SEE OR HEAR its not even funny.

Slip and falls, pffff people LOVE to cash in, i think both libs and conservatives pull that card.

The healthcare issue basically i agree with it. The healthcare in this country IS pretty crappy and its expensive as hell but from the minute i entered the workforce i kind of accepted that thats just part of life, just like car insurance. I think as long as you have a full time job or make a living via part time jobs ( people make a living on all sorts of pay scales) you should be able to have healthcare. However Obama and lots of the liberal/minorities give me the impression they are just so giving and nice and peachy and want EVERYONE to have healthcare. Reading the fine print what they are saying is, they want people that are already getting all sorts of government aid to get health coverage on the working classes dollar while they continue to get drunk, high, and breed.
