Damn dude, I read that song at my best friends funeral. He hung him self off his balcony when I was on my way driving home. Bad night.
That was his favorite song. So I read it for him. That song still gets me when its gets played on the radio.
Im never going to die. So I will sing at all yall's funerals if ya like?

Damn man...that sucks. I feel you. I walked in and found my brother hanging in the basement...although he was a bit more fortunate than your friend, and he survived. Had I found him 2 minutes later than I did, he wouldn't be here right now. That was THE scariest thing I have ever seen in my life.
Oh...um..:
"Call Me" - Shinedown
"Shed Some Light" - Shinedown
"Love Reign O'er Me" - The WhoLast edited by kickflippin1; 01-13-2009 at 02:17 PM.

Thats awesome you got him. Hopefully he is good in the head now.
I could have saved my buddy had I been fully aware. I saw that he cut his wrists on the way into school one day. I asked why he had them bandaged and he told me he cut them while working on his car the other day. I didnt think anything of it. 3 days later I drove by his house about 20 minutes after and saw and ambulance and a police car. I knew what had happened right away. It all just "clicked". Shitty way to realize your best bud was trying to send a signal to you.

you guys have some depressing ass songs for your funeral. I've already told my wife what my wishes were. I want a keg and BBQ brought in and everyone get drunk as hell telling stories about me. I figure my kids would learn a lot about me that night.

Sorry to hear that man. I cant even imagine what you felt at the time of seeing the ambulances at his house!
Me and the boys I hung out with in jr. high to high school always listened to BTNH. Plus that's the only song I had running through my head when my Grandpa passed so it seems somewhat fitting to me.
