Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
What would it take?
To make an F-body run 0-60 in under 4 seconds.
I saw this article and nearly cried:
http://www.autoblog.com/2010/01/28/v...om-the-epic-t/
605hp and 0-62 in 4.1 seconds. top speed?? 211mph. That's just INSANE for a sedan.
So naturally I would like my hawk to be faster.
inb4 NOS
seriously. What would it take to make an f-body with 4.11 gears run sub 4 0-60.

Call me ricer, but I vote for eyebrows on the headlights of that benz.
edit: just a little MSPaint eyebrow action. I'd opt for bodycolor of course.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
suspension/traction.....since we can not go AWD...
Plus perfect driving, weather and road/track conditions. (the same, as the auto makers and magazines use to make their claims)
or trade the firehawk for a vette/cts... problem solved

m/t drag radials, 12-bolt, 4.30 gears, good shifter for the one (should be one) shift, full suspension, no front sway bar, beefy ass clutch for 5k+ clutch dumps. 4.1 doesn't sound hard at all for a drag setup.

really? i figured if someone is running low 11's they must be close to or under 4 considering some F-body's have clocked 4.9 stock.

Yeppers, the mags did runs on crap 245's or 275's so the full drag setup should move out well. Stealthy too

well.... I have summer sport tires on the car now. Not really looking to buy rims just yet. Would rather spend the money on that rear with 4.11's, LCA's, TA, and Watts Link

I dont see anything so great about the mercedes. I mean hell the vette back a few years ago was running almost that fast with way less hp. I am willing to bet you can get a f body to run that with less than 500 hp. the f body is way lighter then the lead sled known as mercedes.
