Long story short, a few months ago I lost an uncle at 59. They found the cancer way late, he passed 4 weeks later. I was pretty close to him and it really stopped me dead in my tracks and made me think about life.

Well, this guy played this song (below) at his funeral on the guitar. Very meaningful song if you listen to the words.

I am a very strong person, I did not cry at his funeral, don't know why but that's not the point. But every so often I have to vent and let it out in my own way and listening to this song just tore me down big time.

I hope that this serves as a release to some of you as it has for me.

this is the song i listened to many times when my uncle was electrocuted to death at his job only a few weeks before retirement... he was a great man... great sense of humor and loved life and his family... this song makes me cry like a bitch when i hear it...

Did they do a different video for the Lynn Strait tribute album b/c ive never seen that only the one where they are on the beach the entire time.

Also its hard to think its been 12 yrs since Lynn died.
