What should I ask for, that is reasonalbe but good
Alright, my parents asked me what I wanted for xmas... they dont usually spend much... maybe around 300 for my sister and i each..
maybe a little more.. im really not sure..
Well the first thing i blurted out was HEADERS! lol... but idk how much that would be..... plus instillation.. id like to do it myself with some help tho, since its much cheaper..
But also slotted drilled rotors is something else i really would love.... and a SLP lid....
not sure for all the prices and such.. but my mom doesnt know jack crap about this stuff.. my dad does, but he doesnt understand why i want it, because 'i dont race my car and those things are for people who race their car'
any suggestions? maybe something else i missed..
I would love to mod my car,, i have little to no cash so id love if my parents could help and have it be xmas gift

The only way your getting headers is the ebay option and you put a little money into a y-pipe.
Pads will make the car stop better, drilled and slotted are only for looks. If you want to stop better hawk pads the hps (90% sure) or just discovered carbotech pads, never used them myself but heard they are a notch above hawk but of course harder on the rotor
You could look into a front sway bar if you want better handling 32 (1le sway bar) you could go bigger and get the front and rear but then you get over that magic $300 mark. Edit if you have any form of slp option on the car you may already have a 1le front sway bar.
lid helps but no sotp feel, I like instant gratification.

Sunset Orange Metalic- 2001 Camaro SS
You can find some hooker headers for around 360 shipped to your door on ebay, but then you need a y-pipe
You could probably find a lid and drilled and slotted rotors for around 300 even

Lets keep this on topic and try to remain positive about it. Vehicle areas are not AAG.

toityme, I'm lost - can you explain your name, or pronounce it for me - I don't get it "to it y me" ????
my screen name reflects one of my motorcycles - the Lime Green 900cc one - hence "LimeNine"
ANYWAYS . . . . .
Headers, dang, where was you when I was looking for the perfect girl?
Your man/boyfriend should sneek over to your folks, and pool the funds to get you the headers, and or offer to install 'em for you. . . .
my woman complained when I spent $400 of the money I earn, to make my sportbike sound like a sportbike - I added the "Two Brothers" racing exhaust, I did the work. Bike sounds awesome
She complained when I spent $700 of the money I earn, to make my Harley sound like a Harley - I added "Vance and Hines - Big Radius" pipes - bike sounds Awesome.
So I want the SLP Loudmouth1 for the Z28, she doesn't understand why, but has given me the green light, except I haven't pulled the trigger just yet

pffft, I'm thinking I should come to Texas, economy is better there, and the girls want headers
I could be a happy dude, find me one of these girls, and one of them prosperous jobs that I've been reading about around Austin, or Houston,
be able to ride my bikes year 'round. . .
hhhmmmmm
