1997 Grand Cherokee- 1999 Firebird.
What kind of flying death machine is this?
I saw this thing building a hive so I took a picture of it before I sent it to hell on a shudder! Now I feel bad because it looks like she had a couple of kids. What is this thing? Wasp? Hornet? Yellowjacket?

I looked up, wasp, yellow jacket and hornet and they've all shown some type of picture that looks like you you sent to hell.

Wasp.... Hornets are bigger, and yellow jackets have stripes on their back, not spots...

I kill critters like that with alacrity when I see them as they like to use my pool as a source of water.
It's quite unnerving to surface and be staring face to face with one.....

I thought yellow jackets were those fat furry fuckers. And wasps were those blackish blue ones, I'd call it a hornet. If it was one of those that is about the size of a cocktail weenie then a hornet for sure. I got attacked by bees when I was a kid and I've been terrified ever since. We stood there hitting a huge bee hive with tennis rackets. We got stung something fierce. 50 yards away they still came at us. I was only 8 and stupid.
And if you can't afford alacrity wich I assume is some expensive posion, just use raid.

It has a thin waist & folds its wings back so that puts it in the wasp category.
You sprayed it with poison so that puts it in the dead mother fucker category.

Yellowjacket. Come to Tx. Between those, hornets, brown recluise and fire ants our exterminators have pretty good job security. Not to mention flying roaches the size of a football.
Thats an awesome pic tho. Look like lil warriors.

That thing does look badass. Either wasp or yellowjacket, and with those black eyes you can't tell which way it's looking. They are supposed to kill other worse things, tho, and take them to the nest so the young ones can eat them alive. If they aren't bothering me or the kids, I let them live, but if the nest is too close, they're dead!
