When i first came into the Corps, I was Motor T. but i was a driver, not a mech. I had always wanted a third gen. i wanted a 25th Aniv RS. ended up getting a 91. Had a few issuses, but nothing too major, then one day the water pump went out. and one of my buddies was supposed to come over and help me out. well, i got tired of waiting for him, and just went at it myself. figured it out, and it just blew up from there.
I'm a cheap ass, plus i don't trust shops, especially in SOCAL. so i figured, it's paid for, and if i fuck it up, i'll just keep working on it until it's right. Since then, i put the drop springs on it, did a total front end rebuild, various misc shit. the only thing i didn't do myself was the Engine rebuild, the Paint, and the cat back. because i don't know how to weld. some time after the cat back i did the headers myself. WHOLY FUCK that was a PITA.

My Grandfather pushed for me to race open road course all my life, but I was bored with it. I guess I went my own direction, and I went straight ....A good docile for this was American muscle!

i played with hot wheels more than any kid ever did. Then for my whole childhood i would see a sweet sounding black 5.0 'stang GT 5spd drive past my house. It lived a block away. A younger guy drove it. I new that one day i wanted to be that guy. I was in love with 'stangs for my childhood until i realized the 5.0 had 225hp and the f-body had much more. My heart was set on an 4th gen camaro at age 14. Bought the car at 17- i'm now 18 and addicted to modding, and i know this is going to be a lifelong hobby.

I grew up in a chevy family and was around muscle cars some. My uncle was into them and I always wanted one. Once I bought my lt1 I was hooked. I started learning more and more about them, going to car events, now I am addicted.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i never was really "into" cars. I was into the image of cars and really liked cars that just looked good, be it an import or domestic. When i was 16 i saw the Ls1 ws.6 for the first time and almost weedwacked someone's ankle's b/c i stopped and stared for so long as it drove by. I was hooked at that moment and knew someday that was gonna be my bitch. 8 yrs later...OMG, DID I JUST SAY 8 YEARS! I bought one of my own. [ps, i'll never be a real gearhead, so I those who have that ability]

When i was a teen i had bought my first car 91 Buick Regal with 118k. Got tired of always putting money into it from shyt breaking. So after having the second alternator and tranny reubuilt i started to try and fix whatever else would go wrong with it myself and thats all she wrote. I had bought this car for 3k spent about another 3k over the years in repairs till i finally got rid of it when the tranny went out at 286k didnt want another rebuild so i junked it.

Sebring Silver- 98 Z-28 camaro
I've always liked cars, I guess it started with my third gen. My mom bought it new in 1987 so I rode in it daily, I loved having the t-tops out riding around during the summer. When I was old enough to get my learners permit I was given that camaro as a birthday present. It's still sitting in my garage to this day and I won't ever part with that car. One of these day's it's going to be my son's car, not until he graduates college though.
