I saw my first two yesterday at the pontiac dealer. This car looks great. It's smaller than I thought it would be (which is a good thing) and the quality is great.

I want one.

my G'dad was actually looking to buy one this week. I told him it looked like a sweet car. He was talking to the sales guy and walked out because it's made in Australia. He won't buy a car not made in the us/canada.

I'm gonna try to convince my dad to get a gxp with the 6.2 in it when it comes out.
He's getting old so he is selling his 1969 camaro ss and replacing it with some thing that would be easier on him.

It sucks but his health isn't the best so he can't enjoy the car any more.

I have given it some thought and I can't let myself give up the money I have saved for a house to buy the car. Besides he will get more money if he sells it to some body else (I'de get the family discount after all)
I'll miss that car though. We have put alot of work into it over the years.

I agree. Not only is that car pure american muscle, its your g/d's car. Thats two full pages of history. It will be bought by some moron who lets his kid drive it and it will get totaled.

Sweet ride. Looks like the former generation BMW 5 series, before they screwed up the design. I'd have one in my stable if I could afford one. Just had to sell my T/A though so gotta replace that some day when things get better before getting the G8.
