what do you drive in the winter??
I have a bit of a problem. I have a 99 SS that I drive daily. I also have a 74 Nova, unregistered and uninsured, waiting in the garage for me to one day build.
I don't wanna sell the Nova, I've had it since I was 12 (my dad essentially gave it to me when I got my license) and I love that car dearly. Plus, I always hear the stories of how "I wish I never sold that car." I don't wanna be one of those people...
Sooooo, how bad of an idea is it to drive the SS in the winter and snow? I'm assuming the corrosion resistance is much better than yesteryear against the salt and whatnot.
I also have the option of buying a 500 dollar crasher to drive in the winter, but I would need a place to store both the SS and the Nova, which would be kinda hard for me to do.
How many of you drive your F-bodies in the winter??

Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
I drive it year round, but I also have a '97 Grand Cherokee that I drive if there's snow on the ground or forcasted.
I have to remember to check the weather though, last year I didn't and got stuck driving the 'Bird in the worst storm of the winter. I couldn't make it home from work (30 mile trip), I had to leave it at a CVS 10 miles from home and had to have my roommate come get me with my Jeep.

I think I've decided on buying another car, Prob a mid 90's Corolla or something as my girlfriend has one and I like it, could prob find one around here really cheap. Then I can park the SS and not have to worry about sliding into a telephone pole or some soccer mom plowing into me at a stop sign

I ride the red scooter on nice days to work, 04 Honda Reflex, gets 60 mpg.
The 85 Volvo wagon is my daily driver on bad days or the cool time of the year they call winter here in Alabama, I am from Iowa originally, this is no where near a real winter, lol.
The blue 73 Chevy C10 is backup for the Volvo or when I need to haul crap.
