What do you consider the greatest street car engines of all time?

Let's hear it... has to be regular production motors... you can also separate 4's, 6's, and v8's

    for me-
4 cyl: 6 bolt 4G63T (on 90-92 eagle talon, mitsu eclipse, and plymouth laser)
6 cyl: tied between supra 2JZ-GTE and buick 3.8 tubo
    8 cyl: LS7
    12 cyl: BMW's S70/2 in the mclaren F1 LM (680 hp)

6 cyl : What about the turbo charged 4.3 in the cyclones/typhoons? Its the GM V-8 with two cylinders cut off. Brillant!!! (in the Irish/Guiness accent)

ecotec is ok, not the best in my eyes.

i think we need specifics...best and fastest are two different things.

so derrin, please let us all know what you want because theyre isnt one right answer....
