A friend of mine lives with a friend that owns a trailer and he thinks his friend is going to kick him out,but his new place wont be ready untill 40 days,the question is can the friend kick him out without any notice since there is no lease and pays cash weekly to rent?

Only if his name is on a lease. Sounds like your friend is screwed unless he has a rent receipt that is.

Why would he be kicked out?
Is he abusing his friend's killer pad?
Is he being a dick?
Is he not paying for his share of the rent/bills?

and YES, if he was invited to stay for a short period, the owner can do as he pleases.

Why not offer your place???

Depends where you live. Shit like that goes down all the time on one of those daytime court shows the wife always watches. Every single time i've seen it (lease or not) it's been 30 days.

He has been there 5 years,not a short period,as far as i know he has paid his bills fully and the dudes bro is mving in,but he fears he will get the boot and not 30 days notice. i dunno just askin for him.

I'm not sure if this is obvious or not but why does't your friend just talk to this guy? He only needs 40 more days I don't think that to much to ask after 5 years.
