I see "ex" twice. Why is there a concern exactly?

If you're referring to someone being able to whoop someone's ass b/c they're bigger than them...size means nothing in a fight

You are talking about a professional organized sport...street fighting has NOTHING to do with that.

Last I checked, a kick to the side of a knee cap or a bottle of beer smacked up side of someone's head isn't allowed in MMA or boxing.

What to do? Sounds like you are already "doing it".

Ex friend is an ex friend. Your choice of companions is your own business.

We all end up with relationship situations at some point. Heck, my former best buddy married a gal I lived with for three years. He became an ex buddy a decade later over business differences which had nothing to do with relationships.

Today, my ex gal (his ex wife) are friends and communicate maybe once a month. No problem. Life move on.

We all have "ex friends" be it guys or gals. I have found that what might have bothered me when I was 18 or 25 often seems not so important at the age of 52.

PS. I have had (when i was a kid) a smaller tough guy try to kick my knee once.. lmfao he bounced off.. I grew up on the streets of greater Pittsburg, and went to an inner city school 60% minorities, people got shot for starter jackets and shoes.. So yeah I know plenty about "street fights" as you call them.. Size absolutely matters.. Little guys get lucky, big guys break orbital bones, fight over little mans..

If size matters, put a professional MMA fighter (light weight class) against a 200+ lb man who has never been in a fight in his life and see who wins.

Fighting is about agility, speed and know-how. It doesn't take a 250lb man to be able to knock someone out. One good lick to the temple and you're out.

PS - I grew up in Gary, Indiana. It was rated the murder capital of the world. Who cares.

If all else is about equal, advantage goes to size. However surprise, better skills, and a willingness to do anything to win can quickly turn the tables in a street fight.

Ask Brock Lesner who got his ass handed to him by a smaller guy. He finally met someone who was a better fighter...not bigger.
