Well I can see how this happens. I mean who honestly deserves the money more? The players imo.
They make so much money, I don't understand why they charge so much for tickets, etc.
I don't care what happens either. I quit watching a decade ago.

nba = nothing to me... i have more fun and interest in playing a game of around the world or jack ass with the family than watching a game on tv...

care-o-meter pegged at 0.
whether its thugs in tights or thugs in baggy shorts, ... these guys get paid well, but only to the point that the public supports ($$) them.. needless to say they don't get any money from me, and i don't watch tv.

yeah this is retarded. same with the football thing. who gives a shit. these are the same things that killed the interest in baseball (mostly the umpire strike though) back in the mid 90s. the players and the owners are only hurting themselves. these guys don't really deserve to make this much money just for playing sports. too bad we don't pay our teachers what we pay professional athletes.

Big ol' babies that dont understand making millions upon millions to play a sport you play in school growing up is a cheese cake job compared to 90% of their loyal fans who grind out working most their lives.

NBA is different than the NFL.. it is really more between the Big money cities Like LA and Miami and Portland or a team like that .. and neither will move ...

Light Pewter- 2002 Camaro SS
I have to agree here.
When I was younger, OK a long time ago.
When you played a sport it was fun, win or lose.
Pro's got paid messily amounts of money unless they stood out that much from the rest. And then it wasn't like the gap today is, they played no matter what etc.
Bunch of pussies, people that should have never been allowed to attend college because they're dumber than a box of rocks etc.
I watch no more sports since the salaries skyrocketed and owners decided that profits outweighed everything else.

If the NBA franchises(as a group) are truly 200 - 300 million in the hole each year, the players had better wake up and smell the coffee.
Oh wait, or should I say the NBA Players Union
I dislike unions more and more every day.
