What car is right for me?
Im new to V8's. Im used to big turbo 4 bangers.
I basically want a car (under $45,000), that is easily moddable, that can create sick amounts of power. I want a car with lots of torque. I am only a straight line/roll kind of racer. I basically want a freeway queen..
Corvette?

If you want to stay under 45,000$ honestly if you have money, pickup an f-body and build it like nuts. Spend 20k on it, and put another 15-20 into it, and you wont have a freeway queen, you will have a 200mph GOD!

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
buy a stock-ish z28 for 13,000 and then mod the hell out of it. I don't think you need to look for a 45,000$ monster right off the bat.

i too recommend either a 4th gen fbody if u can swing the insurance, an 03-04 mustang mach 1, 03-04 mustang cobra, on the cheap a nice clean fox body 5.0 soup it up real nice for 10 to 15k. agreed, a used c5 is often a really good buy. in some states a vettes insurance is cheaper then an fbody or mustang as well. in nj it is.

buy a cheap LT1 car and use the rest to build it. stroke it to a 396, giant aluminum heads, fat ass cam, with a 6 spd. and turbo it. that right there is sex on wheels.
