What can cause a car to run rich? And how to fix?
I'm pretty sure my dads van is running rich, because I can smell the fuel vapors form the exhaust and he isn't getting the best of gas mileage [I know it's a van, but it can do better]. So I'm planning on doing plugs, wires, oil change, tranny fluid change, engine cleaner (the stuff where they use a machine to clean out the motor, like that stuff in a can you can buy at the GM dealer). What else could I do I see if the motor is running right?
