went to trade the kawasaki vulcan

great bike with no problems, wanted an atv, met a guy who wanted to trade a couple older but good atv's.. i said alright.

guy asks about the vulcan, i say it's a great bike i have never had any problems out of it at all, just went for a ride on it the other day. has after market goodies, new paint, runs great, starts first time every time.

so he come over so we can do the damn thang.. walk over to the bike shoot the shit.. he likes it. i say watch this, turn the key.. lights are on, hit the switch and dead.. nothing.. not shit. lights flicker.. get dim.. no nutz.. it would'nt jump off, when we roll started it, it sounded awful, ran for a sec and died. well hell!

umm seems there is a problem sir.. and i tinker with it for hours after the fact and got no where.. made myself look like a total jackass needless to say

needless to say guy left, said he'll come back but i doubt it.

I beg to differ. We have a 1996 Kawasaki ZX-9R and we haven't had any problems with it whatsoever and my old man had it since it was new (well i take that back throttle is stuck at full throttle) but thats it and that has just happened recently like 2 months ago. Bikes been to california and back and has like 10,xxx miles on it and we beat the SHIT out of it it's been to 165 and been wheelied about 1,000,000 times and also dropped a lot. Very good bike and takes abuse like a champ.
