Went to the airshow today!
Just got back from the airshow. Man it was beautiful out, 85 degrees. No cieling hardly. Bad news, I got racoon eyes sunburn cause of my sunglasses. So many babes there though. Saw a lot of cool shit. Jumping Harrier jet, blue angels, golden nights(minus Packy). Actually the announcer said all of the nights there had less than 1000 jumps under their belts. So I find it hard to believe they are the best of the best. Although it was pretty cool demonstration where the one guy cuts away his main and then lands on his reserve. Jet powered porta potty...etc etc. Only downside was with every friggen branch of the military there it was recruiters everywhere. I hate that.
I got a shitload of pics, resized them smaller for your viewing. Only putting a few up because I have to edit them better. I just did a quick fix on them. Fucking sun was comming at me, and with the camera on shutter speed priority mode of 1/250 it looked like shit. Next time I do exposure priority!

My question was answered. The Blue Angels were there. I've never been to an airshow, but I have watched some on TV. It's not an airshow without the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds.

Thanks, but from a photographers standpoint it sucks. Sun was in front of me and since they show them last it was the absolute worst of the day.
I snapped random pics of hot chicks too, they turned out great. Standing in front of planes on display, you act like you take a pic of that and zoom way in on them. Classic. And like I said, I shrunk these down 11 inches in width. So they are HUUUUUUUGE

I got over 200 pics, and would like to thank that high school cheerleading squad who ran the concession stand. That made my weekend.

LOL at the "raccoon sunburn". Last airshow I went too I ended up burned so bad I had blisters on my forehead. Not real smart.

The Thunderbirds are awesome but after seeing both the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds several times I would have to say that the Angels are the best.
Cut-aways are cool and have to be an ultimate rush.
I jumped back in the early eighties and it was one of the high points in the rush arena.

I saw the Blue Angels at Niagara Falls Air-force Base in the 80's and one crashed into the other during a maneuver, both planes crashed to the ground people were running, parts are falling from the sky, something i'll never forget.
