    Well I got orders to Japan...

    So I found out last month that I am getting orders to Okinawa Japan. This would normally be a good thing, if I wasnt on my last 2.5 years in the Marine Corps. My wedding is scheduled for Oct 4th 2009, I report to Oki at the end of Dec 2009. This really isnt what I had planned for my last tour in the Marine Corps before I retired. Good part about this is it will give me a chance to save some cash before I retire, but being away from my wife, house, car, dog, truck, friends....well yet another dissapointment in my carreer. Oh well. Good news is my car is almost done. Were working out some tuning issues right now, and I have to double check a few things. It fired for a few seconds on Sunday, but something is definatly wrong......guess I will pick up scuba diving as a hobby now.......

    I cant take my wife there, I am at my service limitations. An accompainied tour is 3 years. I only have 2.5 left, and the Marine Corps wont extend me past 20 years.
