Are any of those videos they show ever real? Do they have real UFOs in them? I dont know. I dont think there is a way to know for sure. But to think that in the entire universe there isnt another intelligent life form....thats just ignorant.

Why is that ignorant? Because of numbers?

If evolution is real and we and the birds all came from the same amoeba, then surely out of 6 billion+ people, at least one would be able to fly.

Numbers are just numbers. Certainty from a distance is not certainty at all.

But what if there are plenty of aliens, but they're just technologically behind us? And that's why there are never any intercepted radio signals?

If you have a few minutes, read "The Road Not Taken" by Harry Turtledove. A very entertaining short story. A bit of a different take on aliens.

We can only create (transmit/receive) a certain part of the known radio frequencies out there. Who's to say they happen to be transmitting on those frequencies. Our receivers wouldn't be able to pick up UHF from however far they are away and besides all the shit out there that would get in the way of that frequency. They'd be using something beyond what we can probably even fathom anyways...

The aliens in it don't have radio so they can't respond to all the hails as they are approaching Earth.

Have you been in a cave these last few weeks? Everyone and their mother is freakin out over some BS swine flu that doesn't even do anything beyond a normal damn flu. Can you imagine what would happen if our gov told the public about aliens...jesus.

Good point.

My personal view is that God didn't create 80 billion other stars just so we could go outside our caves and stare at them at night.

For certain, there has to be more to the universe than this backwards planet.
