Wanting to buy a Harley..
So I found a Harley that I love. Its the VROD Muscle.
http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/C...S#/model/vrscf
My dad and my brother ride every Sunday and I have always wanted to get one so I could ride with them. Problem is my girlfriend does not want me to have one. Any ideas on how to persuade her to see the other side. And in case anyone is wondering we are gonna tie the knot soon so thats why I care what she has to say. Thanks.

Na I actually pre qualify for one but I wouldn't take a note on the entire thing as we know thats not very wise lol. I will most likely go for it around august if I do. It just sucks because I don't have my T/A anymore to have fun in. I drive a truck and I need something to have a little fun on ya know. All work and no play is gay.

Nice Bike!
Went through the same thing with my wife and she fucked up and said I could have all the Hot Rods I wanted but she wished I would not get a bike.
3 vettes, 1 camaro and a chevelle later and she still doesn't want me to have a bike.
Maybe a new camaro.....

See I gave up my WS6 and my racing and my obsession with that car because I skipped class to go to the track and stuff like that etc. and it was upsetting her. So I've given up alot for her already and all I want is a cruiser bike to ride with my family. If I was wanting a Hayabusa I could see why she would be against it but its a cruiser for crying out loud lol

One of my favorites... 65 Pan Police Special
I had a 1941 Flathead
Everyone in my family rode with the exception of my Mom. She would ride with my Dad once in a blue moon.
My son has a 08 Night Train and he rides with his Dad and his club often.
So, if your family rides and her father rides... Seems to me that she should come around eventually to the idea. Maybe you could sell her on 'family' rides with both families. Or, at least convince her that it is good bonding time with you and your family and you could invite her Dads as well and make it a tradition

If you like the VROD, check out the Victory Hammer as well. I plan on buying one in February.

Harleys are boring, I'd rather ride a mountain bike! I consider one til I rode one after selling my cbr954, instead I got an R1.

The Harley I'm looking at isn't your average Harley its pretty sick. I think I'll work it over until she finally goes along with it. I don't get to spend much time with my dad it would be nice to do that. Her dad would probably ride with us too thats the whole thing.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
If I were to buy a Harley, it would be a custom Fat Boy. No windshield, highway bars or foot beds. Footpegs, Screamin Eagle pipes, drag bars, and a nice, wide rear tire. Kinda like an El Diablo from WCC.
extreme dimensions, driveshaft shop, harrop, hid(35watt/6k) lows, hurst, k&n, led fogs, maverick man, mishimoto, nitto, revshift, slp, stern st-1, smoked sidemarkers, whiteline poly radius rod bushings
