wanted 2 race a couple stangs today

i was cruising around town today and first i see a 2008 mustang. so i point to the highway out of town and he just put's his head down and passes me, so what do i do, i turn around to follow him. as i am catching up to him i pass a 2004 or so mustang at a stop sign,he sits there and watches me pass to catch up to the 2008 to see if he will race. i hit the stop sign at another intersection and i roast the tires and pin it out to catch up to the 2008 stang. he wouldn't go out to the highway, so then i found the 2004ish mustang driving around town (small little town by the way and neither car is from here) i pass him at another intersection and he wouldn't race either, i am like wtf already, so i gave up and went home and put the car in the garage as the 2004ish mustang drove by my house i cracked a beer,pissed off. all i wanted to do is race one of them to see what my 93 could do.... i guess that is why i have "objects in mirror are mustangs" on my car.lol anyways i am fairly new hear and just thought i should make a post..great site by the way

Not everyone in a muscle car wishes to race you. I get revs and offers to race almost everytime I drive the SS but I don't race and it's not because I'm chicken. I like keeping my car, staying out of jail and not paying fines for doing dumb things.

have you ever been to Canada? where i live it is a small town of 2000 people. we don't race on our town streets here like ricers in the cities, we go out to a quiet highway out of town and race when it is safe.... the closest dragstrip from where i live is 3.5 hours away..

On a sidenote about stangs, on my quad racing forums, some kid just got a 2002 Cobra. All stock, but only 15k miles on it. Amazing looking. Five pages of replies, and everyone was saying camaro will beat it, trans am will beat it, why'd you buy that and not a camaro and all that shit. Only like one possitive reply. He has since left to the svt forums and not returned.

??? i am not sure what this reply is to. all i wanted to see is how my car would compare to a mustang after i did some mods to it. i am not a street racer.

give the guy a break he was trying to take it to a safe place andeveryone loves to street race they just dont like the penalty

sorry about your bad luck i too know how it feels to waste a tank of gas looking for a race only to go home with an empty wallet

Im sure I would like an LS1. Its no longer in the car. LQ4 6.0 with 5.3 heads on top. See mods in sig.

I absolutely lve it! Its torquey as hell, perfect for a street monster.
