This was my GTO they used in the pilot. They damaged the car to the tune of $7800. They didn't tell me they were going to do stunts. Battery and power inverter sliding around in the trunk unsecured damaged my rear quarters. Interior was flooded by being left outside in a rainstorm with windows down, had to be completely removed. The blue police light mounted on the dash was duct taped to my freshly painted dash, scratched it all up. Dash had to be repainted too with most of the car. They broke the door handle off, bent the hinges on the trunk lid and damaged the trunk lid seal. It was in the body shop five months and I was only paid for the three weeks they used it. Their insurance company paid for all the repairs, but I was without my car for five months. Afterwards they decided they still wanted to use it for the series so I had a contract written up for them to sign. I guess they didn't like that and knew they would tear it up again so they changed their mind and told me they found another '64 GTO and bought it to use on the show. But evidently they bought a 1967 Malibu, put a Super Sport Chevelle hood on it and painted it blue. That is the car you will now see on the show. Oh well, good luck to them. At least I was in the pilot.
