Want vs Need

My wife is busting my balls for Christmas ideas. She has finally given in on accepting stuff for my T/A. I had been telling her the only stuff I wanted was for the car and alot is way too much for her to spend right now.

So I gave her a list that was in her price range she set (under $130)::

Need:

Rear Shocks - I'm 1000% sure they are OEM car is a 98
LS7 Clutch Kit - It's due soon, sometime in next 6 months. (I know it's more then $130, but told her anyways)

Want:
Everything else....Really I want more....

SLP Air Lid
UMI Sub Frame Connectors
UMI Strut Tower Brace

The sponsors have some great deals right now on these items, but am I forgetting anything else? The car is mostly stock my sig has what I've done or added.

Out of what you listed, the SFCs will likely give you the most return on your $130, especially if your car has T-tops.

It will also make for a better foundation for all the other things.

Maybe a shifter/knob? Rear LCA's? E-cutout?

if you plan on building your car up more, save the money and dont buy the ls7 clutch instead get a twin disk mcleod rst or rxt

This is what I do for christmas/birthdays. I ask for things I need such as socks, underwear, cloths, spark plugs, wires, oil, filter, coolant or anything else cheap that I might spend my money on. This way I don't have to spend my money on them and use my money to buy mods instead of all the small things that add up. Most car stuff I want or even need is to expensive for me to even ask someone to buy for me.

I agree, I need new tires but that's to much. If some bought me the stuff to do lets say 3-4 oil changes. That saves me that much more for tires... Speaking of, I need to change the oil.
