So you put the surround up over the shit pile that was there? Or did you completely gut it?
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

I'm going to have to assume that this is a foreclosure that has been empty for a very long time.
35th... All that mold has to be removed. The whole insert is trash. It would have to violate some Health Regulation Sanctions to just cover it up.

That is pretty gross, I used to help my uncle clean up foreclosed homes/ old run down buildings. Much time spend cutting out gross shit like this from showers and tubs.
I wish I still had pictures of my first apartment's fridge I had with 4 friends of mine. One of us was responsible for utilities.... he didn't pay it, power got shut off. No big deal accept I went up north for a whole month of hunting, the other two went to jail for almost a month and the guy who didn't pay the utilities packed up and left. Needless to say when I got back my fridge and freezer were never cleaned out and they had their own Ecosystems living in there. So we torched the whole inside, taped and caulked it shut and genetly pushed it off our balcony. LAndlords did call us sometime later asking what was in it. We told them never to open it and get a new fridge.Last edited by Zinergy; 10-18-2012 at 11:21 AM.

People have lived there for 21 years and were showering in it we trashed it and put up new drywall then wrapped. You could never wrap over that

Is that one of those crappy one piece enclosures that you guys put back in it, and then you charge a shit ton for it? (I am in no way saying you did a bad job installing it, only that those things are cheap and cheesy looking).
Real tile FTW

4 piece system and I would take it in a heartbeat over tile. Grout looks like shit after time and is hard to clean compared to this stuff. This stuff is 100% acrylic and super easy to clean and maintain. I would honestly take this over pretty much anything and i have installed tons of fiberglass showers and tile crap. Just my opinion. This isn't the same crap that menards and home depot sells.

I have a tiled bathroom floor and shower that I did myself 2.5 years ago. Still looks brand new. I just wipe the shower down after showering. Takes 15 seconds. Your surrounds look good too. Just saying, tile is easy to maintain.

Tile does look good if taken care of which you probably take pride in and do....most do not and I can vouch for that after the stuff I have seen.

I've installed hundreds of both style fiberglass tubs.
Mostly one piece type. Judging from the hand holds and the seat in the new one tells me the couple is likely elderly.
Prolly have not been able to get on their hands and knees to clean the other one in years..
Tile is nice for sure. But a haven for molds, mildews, and bacteria..
The job would be 10x the expense if you hand to bring in a tile setter as well.

I charge ~$45 and hour with a 2-hr minimum.
Many plumbing shops here charge more some with a 4-hr minimum.
A tradesmen tile setter will be comparible if not more here.

I do alright .
The first 2-hrs pays for odd and end shit like nails, lumber, screws, hold rights, small equiptment rental, lunch, etc.
I have to agree tile is by far a much nicer way to go.
But for elderly that may not be able to maintain it so good then acylic/fiberglass is for the best.
Personally when it comes to tile I like granite, and marble, over ceramics but to each their own.
Oh and I liked your page brah..XD
