So used to running on 5-6 hours a night that I figure 12 might be nice.

I feel your pain, after so many countless days of 5-6 hours sleep, you just want to crash for weeks it seems. You can only go so long without adequate sleep. Having a little baby tends to deprive you of sleep though

Sara sleeps great. She gets 10-11 hours a night now.
But she doesn't like napping during the day. Trade offs I guess.

This weekend will be nice. Sleep until I can't anymore.

actually neither of them are mountain bikes, the trek is a hybrid and the merlin is a road bike (like what they ride on the tour de france...skinny tires, light weight)

anyone with a wife and kids can relate to that. I bowhunt and take a week off and go stay in my camper in the woods for an entire week. I get up at 4-5am every morning and hunt until I get my first deer. Then I take the next day and sleep in the camper until I just can't sleep anymore. It's great. No wife, no kids, no phone, no tv, no computer, no traffic, and no interuptions whatsoever. It's the best day of the whole year. I've knocked out some serious sleep on those trips. I've been known to get up just in time for supper.
