    v6 turbo'd camaro

This is a pretty bad little v6 camaro the guy decided to put a sts rear mount turbo on it, sounds pretty good and will boil the tires off of it. Here is the link

That much work and only 343hp? Sounds good and all but aren't STS kits like 3g's?

yea I know the rear turbo's are not as good as the front mounts, but it sounds great and it looks like it put alot of power to the ground just for the v6.

2jz, 300zx TT, rb26 can all put 400whp to the ground with stock turbo setups, bolt ons and tuning. People run 500+whp on stock e46 m3 bottom end with a turbo. A evo x, STI can put down 340whp with a 4 cylinder with the stock turbos maxed out. This car is not impressive compared to all these smaller 4 and 6 cylinders.

I'll never understand dumping money into a turbocharger system for a V6, with these kind of results. Seems silly.

The v6 is just under 3700lbs, about 90lbs less than the v8 SS. The STS turbo kit probably added 50-70lbs. So no its not any lighter.

yea I know what the specs are on the m3's the evo's and sti's even the 2jz, I had a buddy who was big into imports, I was just saying it sounded good, and run better than I thought it would. Their is always going to be somebody with a bigger better car, and on go to horsepowerfreaks and check out some of their m3's.

Yes, Ive seen that video posted multiple times... in that section about 12 times. The song ruins it.

Is that a normal thing? No, big money was dumped into that. Is it a fast V6? Sure. Its not the norm though. That car also has a decent wieght.

This car in the this thread is the norm, turbo kit, and a whopping 350 RWHP. Dont know how thats impressive to anyone considering HP/Dollar.

All im saying is a 4 cylinder with stock turbo putting out the same power. So why would you think it ran good?
