Yeah, firing squad is probably pretty cheap too. You gotta figure they already have the guns, how much would the single bullet cost (+ 4 blanks)? Hanging is underrated. It would be cheap and if done right, instant. Beats the shit outta that lethal injection crap. You don't have to strap the guy down and find a vein. There's even a chart to determine how long to make the drop and how long the rope should be based on height and weight.

True. I think it could be made automatic. Saw on some history channel show recently that the bullets are calibrated before they leave the factory by using an automated machine that has a gun attached and fires automatically at the target. They could use something like that. The doctor could load it or whoever loads the crap for lethal injection then it wouldn't fuck with anyone's elses guilt.
