Here is another helpful tip will, when putting hot grease in a glass jar. Do not put cold water in or around it...... Jar will break/crack. So if you spill wait for it to cool lol

Definitely....Last time my parent's were visiting my mom pulled one of my glass plates straight out of the microwave, took the food off it, stuck it in the sink and turned on the cold water

I now have two halves of a glass plate

You can't have physics with out chemistry. You can't have chemistry with out physics.

Mason jar always works good. But again be careful heat and glass.

I've always used a metal coffee can. When it cools put the lid on it and it helps stop the smell of old grease.

Use a can. Just don't throw one out after you open it, wash it out and you'll have it next time you need it. Then just toss it out when the fat hardens. Or, if you keep grease to cook in, use a crock
