so way back in the Y2K a magazine called Motor Trend did a piece with this title. staring in the event were 9 cars. 5 american and 4 foreigners. The lineup was impressive.

the rundown went something like this

$195,000 - Shelby Series 1 Supercharged
$153,000 - Ferrari 360 Modena
$130,000 - BMW Z8
$114,000 - Porsche 911 Turbo
$86,800 - Dodge Viper ACR
$85,000 - Qvale Mangusta
$54,995 - Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R
$47,500 - Corvette Z06
$36,500 - Pontiac SLP Firehawk

wait.... WHAT?!?! they honestly thought that an F-body could play with these bad boys??????

Well... yeah... and in NONE of these tests did it come in last place.... that honor went to the pitiful Qvale. However.... a Cobra R was "barely" street legal... hell it didn't even have an interior. it was a purpose built racer... yet the hawk put up some good numbers against it.... didn't beat it. but wasn't embarassed... still... coming in second to last in this company... stock... in 115 degree arizona heat.... VERY NOT BAD!!!

They did give the hawk honorable mention for being one of the most fun cars of the bunch. and hey!!! it was the cheapest too!!!!! amazing bang for the buck

On many vehicles (like my gmc) there's no room for exhaust on one side due to the tank

I haven't had too much shit break on mine. I have tons of rattles due to poor interior and shitty ass roads

It's not a mileage thing. For the most part it's go fast shit and previous owner hacked up shit that goes wrong. My '72 chevy has been a far more reliable car

I know you said your clutch just went out. If you haven't made a decision yet, I recommend the LS7. Feels stock/Performs good under my power/Reasonable price
