    UGGG I Hate Ice storms

Well here I am with no electric a bunch of busted up trees on and around my house. Although i have rigged up a convertor and using my drag car battery to browse the web. Now as long as another tree doesn't fall into the house and the battery doesn't go dead I'll be happy. I will post up the carnage pics later when and if the electric comes back on.

Nope... Just a small convertor hooked up to a battery. No electric but the DSL still works.

reminds me of the time i went into a house and on the floor in front of the bigscreen/gaming system were two front seats out of a cadillac, both in the crushed red velvet, hooked to a car battery to power their functions.

Yea so I've heard. I used the bucket on the tractor today to help clean up some of the downed trees in the road so people could get out. the main roads are clear here but the back country roads are not in that good of shape. I went into town today and most of the power is off and the gs stations that had power are runnining out of gas. I was told by one of the electrical guy's that some places won't get the power back on for another 4-5 days. I hope I'm not in that number.

The broken trees almost reminds me of the ice storm Tulsa got last winter. Every tree in Tulsa suffered that fate and no power for over a week. A storm that will be remembered in OK history for many years to come.
