Clay Guida is a wild man, that dude is fucking nuts when he's fighting.. That head movement was nuts.. Got Gomi by choke out anyways..

Yum Yum got the best of Nate Dias.. That Korean dude has some serious ground game..

I'm pretty suprised when Thiago was on Veras back late in the third and Thiago started playing chopsticks on Vera's back that Vera didnt go for broke
(no pun intended) and just go to town on Thiago. It was still a few seconds before his nose was broken

They have called many WEC and UFC fights wrong. Sadly not much Dana White can do about it.

Phil Phony should have retired about 5 years ago.. He got dropped after he gassed again in the 1st.. He didn't even come out guns a blazing.. Perhaps Baroni should have came out swinging..

Oh well, I hope we don't see him fight again.. It's a waste of time..

in hs both where wrestlers, and jason played defense with me in football, he was nuts and always seemed jacked up on some juice...

yeah, clay has great cardio and will, needs to tighten up his striking game and protect his head more before.

Anyways, the real loser of this fight is Pettis, the runner up to fight for the belt.. Too bad, he'll have to wait another year probably just because of the draw..

Vera should go fight in Japan or some other lessor organization then the UFC. He's been on the losing end of fight for years.. Last two fights he's gotten his face broken too.

He's on his way to tomato can status in the UFC.. I'm sure Dana will drop him..

Silva didn't look like 205...dude is massive compared to vera and they're close to the same height. Shits rigged..they should have to make weight the day of the fight IMO.

BTW silva is a douche for slapping vera on the ground like that especially when he was scared to stand up with the guy.

^^^ Vera was at one time a world class wrestler.. His stand up looked great, but his take down defense was for crap, and he could not get up off his back..

Joe Rogan was even shocked.. Maybe Vera should fight in K1 instead of MMA at this point...

GSP is usually much larger then his opponents too.. Not rigged though they just cut more weight before fights I suppose..

That's exactly it, some fighters cut 30lbs in one week. No joke. Cutting weight and weigh ins, is all part of training and strategy. However since weight classes are separated by 15lbs it makes it harder for fighters to change classes unlike boxing which is a 7 lb spread
