many MMA magazines give the win to GSP by decision.
Kos has a punchers chance, however I really think GSP will dominate him. Even Dan Harding had a punchers chance and could not hit GSP
usually a challenger has the motivation going into a championship card, from being hungry for the belt. GSP has the motivation over Kos and wants to destroy him.
as a kid GSP was beaten up and bullyed for being too nice. GSP thinks of Kos as a bully towards GSP, and GSP's team on TUF. When a world class athlete bottles that crap in, he will unleash hell. KOS wished for this fight and a pissed off GSP, wrong wish!!!
my prediction
GSP submitting Kos (kos bloodied up)
struve over mckorkal (bloody match)
stevenson over danzig (motha, tell your children not to walk my way)
alves over howard
hazlett over bocek

KOS gets ruined by a pissed off and angry GSP in this one..
Fighters like Jon Jones and GSP are the only two that go into fights and just destroy elite wrestlers like KOS.. It's their specialty.
Even though Kos has probably been training his on his take down defense and stand up skills since the show ended, I still think GSP will dump Kos on his back or head and beat the living shit out of him.
GSP is too big, strong and athletic even for a guy like JOSH KOS.. I see no reason why this fight will be any different then the first one..
Actually, if anything Josh gets really hurt in this one. KOS talked way too much head on the show and that has created inner rage build up for GSP.. The gentle beast will be unleashed this Saturday night..
The rest of the card is kinda weak in my opinion..Last edited by JIBBBY; 12-09-2010 at 02:57 PM.

IMO Koscheck over GSP... GSP is pretty cool but I always go for the underdog. But it will probably end in Koscheck KO'd in the 2nd
The rest of the card I'd say:
Mccorkle over Struve
Miller over Oliveria
Joe Daddy over Danzig
Pitbull Alves over Howard
Hazelett over Bocek
Natal over Bongfeldt
Pierson over Riddle
Doerksen over Miller
Grant over Almeida
Audinwood over Makdessi

GSP should have no problem beating Kos.
Stevenson and Danzig will be a good fight with the edge going to Joe
Struve over Mckorkal
Hazelett over Bocek
Alves over Howard

My betting pics are GSP and Alves only..
I'm kinda thinking Joe daddy Stevenson should win too, but he is kinda on the down slide.. So I'm passing on that one..

agreed...
and GSP did it standing up. Its amazing how many people doubt GSP stand up game, since his ground game is so dominant. Last night proves his stand up is dominant too. GSP has a dangerous jab.
The post fight conference on ufc.com was good too!
GSP stated he was not happy with his performance, his goal was to knock out Kos, but kos proved to be tough.

Kos got beat like a bad habbit... GSP should have finished him..
Oh, and that Kos ass kissing shit after the fight was garbage too.. He did it for promo, yeah right.. Kos got the same pay check regardless. GSP should have slapped his hand away from his ear and told him to go F*CK himself..
GSP is way too nice and forgiving if you ask me..
I can't wait to see Jake Shields take GSP down and beat on him... Jake may not get the double on GSP, but he will crowd him on the fense, trip and work to take GSP down in the clinch.. Jake is a beast and always takes down his opponents.. This fight will be a war..
Can't wait for that fight!!!!Last edited by JIBBBY; 12-12-2010 at 02:18 PM.

Fuck Jake Shields. I'd rather see a catch-weight fight between GSP and Andersen Silva

Shields wouldnt last too long with GSP and theres no one else left that really stands a chance with GSP.
It would be interesting to see if GSP decided to move to 185lbs and how he put the weight on to stay fit and quick. Silva is the only next reasonable challenger. Maybe Belfort, Bisping, Marquardt, Sonnen.....MAYBE

^^^^Jake would last and you guys are wrong.. Jake will fight inside, avoid the striking of GSP and take him down.. He will not be drawn in the fight like he was against Kampmann either.. He beat Kampmann when he was wasted.. Fresh the dude is a beast..
I think Jake Shields submits GSP straight up like Matt Hughes did early on..... Jake is a beast on the ground and a high level BBJ black belt.. He's dangerous for any fighter to face right now.. Jake Shields has always taken down his opponents too, ALWAYS!!!Last edited by JIBBBY; 12-12-2010 at 04:39 PM.

That fight will never happen.. GSP would pull a Chael Sonnen and probably win anyways.. Silva struggles against solid wrestling based MMA fighters and GSP is one of the best in that department.

the topic of GSP fighting Jake Shields or Anderson Silva was discussed at the post fight conference.
Both GSP and Dana White commented on the thoughts. Go to UFC.com to watch.
I doubt GSP will gain 20-30lbs to fight in a weight class 15lbs up. Also it would be smart for dana white to keep GSP and silva as the dominators in their class.
In regards to GSP fighting Jake Shields. GSP will win that also. GSPs training is too diversified, too intelligent. Yeah Shields is good and would have a punchers chance, but again GSPs training is too intelligent

Jake Shields doesn't have a punchers chance, he has no stand up or punching power...His world is on the ground only, his stand up is horrible... He always takes his opponents down though, always.. GSP will go down and it will get interesting I promise.. GSP never gets ground and pounded and he never has faced a Jitsu guy at this high level on the ground either..
Jake Shields fights alot like Randy Couture, Randy has beaten excellent stand and ground fighters by clinching and taking them down from that position.. Gonza got dumped on his head by Randy in the clinch.. Remember?
