two new cars

drivin up to campus this mornin...like 15 minutes ago...came across two new cars.

the first was a cadillac cts-v coupe in a dark silver. actually didn't realize what it was until i was past it and did a double take in my rear view.

second car was a chevy cruze. got a better look at it as i was slowing down to make a turn and it was parked on the road.

both are nice looking cars for what each is. for some reason i expected the cruize to be slightly larger than what it is although i can see where they are going size wise. the current malibu is a much larger car compared to the last two generations and the new cruze is about the same size as the 97-03 or the 04-08 four door. the cts-v coupe looked a little odd with the higher back end and the enlongated swoop of the c-pillar down to the trunk deck, but that may have been partly due to my driving past it quick at 30 and not having a chance to really look at the lines.

either way both cars are worth a second look and the GM engineers got enough right to make someone driving past the car lot seeing one want to stop and take a closer look.

Had to go lookup the Cruze, hadn't even heard of it yet. Don't see much special about it or anything that stands out. Just another ordinary looking 4-door. Give us something new people!

That's standard of the segment. Just this one is supposed to be way nicer than the cobalt as well as the mileage and torque you get with the 1.4 turbo
