    Friend has a 56 inch dlp. The picture is the best I've ever seen no matter what size tv I could compare it to. Its clear from any angle. Playing xbox 360, it literally looks like real life. I've never been that amazed by a tv. I think the dlp makes plasma look like an incredible waste of money.

    By far, and being a cable guy, the best ive seen is LCD..but thats just my opinion, I dont like plasma because the image can actually "burn" the screen if on there for too long. There is nothing like a LCD with 1080p High Definition

    btw for all of those who are wondering the difference in the i and p like 1080i vs 1080p

    i = interlaced
    p= progressive scan

    I enjoy the simplicity of the fabled Overhead Projector. Didn't see an option for it on the poll though.

    i work at a tv shop and i can tell u pretty much n e thing bout those u want... dlp is personally my fav because u get a great picture with such a light tv and easy to work on... we charge the least to work on those... and if u are in a smaller room it would definitely be a lcd cuz they last longer and it would be smaller and easier to move around if you are in a smaller room... hands down its allways between those two types
    stay away from brands you have never heard of.. my favs are toshiba, mitsubishi

    I just wish they would hurry up and fix the problems with the technology and release some TV's already.

    Yeah apparently the problems they have right now is low life expectancy. That and they can't make really large screens yet. Could you imagine a 72" display? That'd be so badass.
