    Talking turkeyzilla...

    this year my dad wanted to go big... he picked out a turkey from a local free range place... this monster came in at 36 lbs and just barely made it in ot the oven... i think they had it cooking for about 9 hours... the meat was tender and full of flavor... he wants to get a 40-45 lb for next year...

    i've never seen a turkey breast as big as the one that came off that turkey... about the size of two footballs... lol...

    i have maybe 4lbs that i took home... still have a 19.7 and 15lb turkey in the freezer at my house... the wife is brining the turkey... she makes an awesome meditranian turkey... i'm thinking about trying a turkey chilli...

    I usually cook my turkey in a slow cooker with some flavored chips. Usually turns out awesome. That thing is massive.

    Please let me do when you do so I can plan a trip out of the state of PA. lol

    Let me know what you try and how it turns out. The turkey chilli I have had was pretty damn good.
