Toys/gifts for 3 year old
That time of the year.
Don't have a lot to spend. At Sara's age, I don't really know what the hell to get her.
Any ideas?
Just take her to Wal-Mart and walk through the aisles and see if she seems to really like something?

Stuff animals toy cars, stay cheap and under $50 if possible, maybe even $100. She won't remember, so no reason to go all out on stuff she will loose.

I think taking her somewhere/doing something memorable would be more special to her. But otherwise, maybe some kids movies?

Watch Saturday morning cartoons with her. If things haven't changed much, those hours are loaded with toy commercials and she'll tell you what she wants

Do you get cartoon network then?
It's tough. You don't get her at all on Christmas day? Not even later on in the day? That's not right. You guys should spit that day. One should have her in the morning and the other in the evening.
At least, that's what worked for me and my ex. On my Christmas morning, my son would wake up at my house and would spend the first half of the day with me and then dinner at his Dad's and spend the night with him. We'd trade off.
Yeah, take her to Walmart or wherever you guys shop and she'll let you know what she likes.

Shoot, I wouldn't mind having one now And I thought my sons Jeep Power Wheels was cool. He had a blast in that thing too
There are some good ideas in there
I'm out of the loop when it comes to little ones. And frankly... I hope my son keeps it that way for a while

I wanted to split it...but she didn't. Something about taking her out of state some years. Stupid shit as far as I am concerned, and another reason I think she is treating me like shit. But enough about that.... lol
We alternate Thanksgiving and X-Mas.
My X-Mas spirit is already lacking because of this. Although I really enjoyed Thanksgiving.
And yes, I have the Cartoon Network.

Divorce sucks. But, it sucks even more when you have kids.
So, just make the time you do have with her around Christmas extra special

I'm trying to think of all the shit we got out daughter who's also 3. She's into my little pony, anything princess related, moxy girls, microphone thing she can sing into, dress up mirror vanity thing that has the barbie head attached to it, books, playdough, arts and crafts stuff, dinosaur stuff, and about 10000 other things. At 3 you can't really go wrong....she'll spend more time playing with the wrapping paper and boxes than she does the toys.

My 3 yr old twins love the Dado Cubes. They love legos, the big ones Duplo I think they are called. Anything they can build stuff with is a big hit.
