I'm sick of our country selling itself to foreign countries. Our trade imbalance is now at -763 BILLION, reaching an all time low again as it has for the last several years. Japan is the worst country when it comes to this. Their laws are set to make it nearly impossible for foreign business to succeed while our laws do the reverse.

- Mexican killed my car
While this doesn't make me happy, wait until the typical stupid American starts buying Chinese cars to go with all their Chinese shit they buy at walmart. I don't think people really understand how much money we give the Chinese on a daily basis. Nothing like giving your most powerful enemy in the world all your money.
I wonder how close these two companies would be if we had a national health care system like japan does? That saves Toyota alot of money right there on top of taking advantage of unfair trading.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Camaro Z-28 SS
Our country is going to crap because of so much out sourcing. We are hurting ourselves by doing this. Why would anybody want a foriegn car over a domestic anyway? I guess people are not realizing these things.

Screw toyota. I read that they are only really selling well in the USA and that in japan and europe that sales are down.

someone told me that the only way all the foreign cars have such a good reputation here is because they used to never have recalls. they would just fix the problems when they came in. the media would notice no recalls and say that they have a perfect product. so domestics were getting a bad rep for nothing.
idk if this is true but it makes sense. IMPORTS SUCK!!!
They say Japanese automakers are exploiting an artificially weak yen to make their products more affordable.

I think the American consumer has and will continue to buy the best product for themselves.
I personally have never owned a foreign car (unless you count the GTO as foreign), but in all honesty that fact has never played a roll in my decision as to which cars to buy. Foreign manufacturers just don't currently make products that fit my specifications. If they did I would consider buying because I my only concern is which product is best going to fulfill my wants.
