Lucky to be going there. I have been a Bama fan for many years, and they have had serious issues for years. Bama should have won more games than they did this year. Poor play calling, play execution, and coaching were the downfalls. So now, we await a new coach........

they should have learned when they got Mike about getting a new coach,,,,I think Bama should have had a better season than they did,,,But ....they should have had a coach ready to come before they fired Shula ...

True, and it could be the first of the year after all the bowl games are over until we find a coach. From what I hear, we are talking to Saban again since Rodriguez bowed out, but who the hell knows.

Bama wasn't a bad team, you know they had a good defense because they stayed in most games ... What they needed was off.. Coordinator. and kept Mike one more year .....

No...they weren't a bad team. I dont know whether the problem was with Shula or Raider. Although,extremely conservative play calling was the problem, and as you know Shula called the offensive plays. Not sure as to how much input Raider actually had during the games.

we have a pretty good SEC football group on here . And most weekends had a thread about the bigger games ... Realy didnt have any Bama fans that could just talk about their team , only wanted to talk about how the "Reffs were aginst them"... Hope to get some good Bowl threads later on ....

UF would have to play their best game, and OSU would have to play their worst to even have a chance. Although, UF's season kinda reminds me of the Alabama National Championship team of 92. Many close nail-biter games that year...but we went undefeated 13-0. And best of all, we beat the hell out of the Hurricanes in the Sugar Bowl 34-13, when no one even gave us the slightest chance of winning....especially Lee Corso. The look on his face, and his reactions after the game were priceless...I'll never forget it.

I like the way everyone thinks OSU is this great God team and my Gators just got picked out of some line to play them.. We played a very tough schedule and deserve this shot ...and with our Coach in only his second year expect us to not go away ...

Anything can happen...I'm not counting the Gators out, I just dont think they will win....IMO.

I also am a Michigan fan. And hate Ohio state. .....But we need the big ten to look good. We need all the big ten schools to do good. Dam I cant beleave I will be pulling for ohio st.

How many bowl teams did Ohio State and Michigan play combined? Less than Florida alone. We played 10 in our 13 games. How many teams with losing records did Ohio State and Michigan play?

Just an observation.

You can be 6 and 6 and go to a bowl. The SEC seems to have over all the best teams.(year in and year out) Michigan played 6 that I know off 5 in the big ten and Notre dame . Not sure about the other pre season games.

I will still take Ohio st over Florida which I did at work on bowl picks at work.
Now Mich, vs Usc will be a tuff game. Mich, seems to do better in the south bowl games then at the rose bowl.(over the last 30 years that I have followed them)

Yeah i think he just likes the attention when they did the show outside the stadium for the osu mich game all the fans were yelling at him for picking michigan
