I wonder how they got the Beatles game to be hard. It's not exactly complex in the instrumentals. A few good songs but i'm into heavier stuff, classics or not

One of my favourite bands. I also like much of the solo/after beatles work.
Big fan of John and Paul.
Their music will stand the test of time. Truly original....some of the greatest music EVER!
Oh yea, can't Yoko just go somewhere and die....PLEASE!!!!

The who> the beatles
However, the beatles changed music, revolutionized rock and roll, and nearly every rock band regardless of style they play owe SOMETHING to them.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Back in the day (prior to Sgt Peppers) the Beatles were constantly battling the Beach Boys for who had the best band (most artistic, most #1 hits and airplay). When Pet Sounds came out (shortly after Rubber Soul) Paul was overheard saying, "What the fuck do we have to do. Just what the fuck do we have to do to be better than them." In 1966 he publicly stated that the Beach Boys song "God only knows" was the best song ever written. Sgt Peppers was the result of this competition.

I saw McCartney back in 02 in Indianapolis. For me it was the Beatles show that I was too young to go to back in the 60's....
I've seen more concerts than I can remember (too many good drugs in the 60's and 70's - saw my 1st live concert {The Doors} courtesy of my older step bro back in 67) but McCartney is in the top 5 of all time.
