I wonder how they got the Beatles game to be hard. It's not exactly complex in the instrumentals. A few good songs but i'm into heavier stuff, classics or not

Big fan of John and Paul.
Their music will stand the test of time. Truly original....some of the greatest music EVER!

Back in the day (prior to Sgt Peppers) the Beatles were constantly battling the Beach Boys for who had the best band (most artistic, most #1 hits and airplay). When Pet Sounds came out (shortly after Rubber Soul) Paul was overheard saying, "What the fuck do we have to do. Just what the fuck do we have to do to be better than them."
