for those that remember my premature son Caden
Some of you remember almost 2 yrs ago asking for your thoughts and prayers for my son Caden. He was born April 12, 2004 and was 12 inches long and less than 1lb. 8oz He was born over 3 full months early and wasnt expected to make it. He battled with many machines and poking and prodding from the hospital staff for many months. The nurses said he would have asthma and would definitely have to have braces on his legs and may not ever walk. Well i want to thank you guys with my deepest sympathy for your thought and prayers because he is a walking and talking miracle child. Caden is now almost 2 yrs old and weighs about 25lbs. He walks, runs, talks (we have a child development lady come out and he is talking on a 3 yr old level) dances , rides his power wheels quad, and anything else a normal 2 yr old does. My wife just called and a lady she knows had a child that was born a full pound heavier and he cant even feed himself and he is seven years old. I just wanted to really thank you and praise God for our miracle baby. Here is a pic when he was born and here is a pic from a month or so ago.

Good deal, man. I'm glad that your son is okay and yes, he must be tough as nails to go through all of that and still live. God bless you.

I remember seeing that picture and saying a little prayer for him. I can't believe that was two years ago. He looks great and you sound like such a proud poppa.

Hard to believe it's been 2 years. I remember the original thread and the updates we got, but then kinda forgot about it all. Good to hear he's doing so well.
