just saw this thread; the plans have changed a bit from show to go, but basically my t/a and the t/a from the Bullrun show will have the same father

oh, and i gave it the name "Project Phoenix" b/c I wrecked my first ws.6 and this will be it's reincarnation [in a different body]

Mike Alsop-the winner of Spike TV's show "Bullrun" [he entered with his daughter and they won with a built up 2002 red ws.6].

Mike works for a dealership a few hunder miles from me so I got on the horn with him and discussed some plans on how to make me a powerful and well-hanling ws.6 or ws.7 [depending on what they start the build from]. My orginal plan was to have a show car in two-tone color/stripes/interior to match, but have since decided to use the money on performance mods. They're also going to buff/polish the factory paint on the car to make it look like an 07 model

Hopefully the car should be done by begining of june.

can't clone that car-it's like a 40k vehicle. Gotta do about half that. Mike is still the builder though

Thats awesome. Didnt I hear some where that that bull run car is north of 600hp? Idk but it should be pretty bad ass. I live in dayton, so maybe I'll see you crusing around some time when its done.

the bullrun car has 2 engines-one for the Spike tv rally, a heads/cam ls1 @ 420+ HP and then the 2007 Rally car engine is a 402 i think.

why 2 engines? Spike tv wouldn't allow any competitors to bring computers with them and the 408 they put in the car would have needed multiple tunes and consistant monitoring to adapt to the various climates/conditions/altitudes in the series; so they dropped a good ole reliable ls1 with some work done and a basic street tune for the win.

Dayton isn't far at all, come down and i'll grill ya a burger. and bring that girl in your avatar

The boy can cook a burger that is for sure. It would be worth the drive to meet him and have him cook up a burger.
