Third Gen Syndrome
Third Gen Syndrome: (n) 1. Having symptoms of that of an average third gen. 2. Owning a car that if a limbless-blind-deaf-paralyzed-mute-mentally-retarded person saw you, they (if some how miraculously gained vision, mental capacity, etc) would say, "Owned!"
Usage:
So I was coming back from the gym this evening and I accelerated around the corner faster than most people normally would, however halfway through the turn my car made a really loud noise and large vibration, and the revs keep going up but my speed did not increase, until I let off the throttle. At first I was scared my transmission was about to take a messy corn-studded dump all over the road, but I was relieved when I remembered my car just has Third Gen Syndrome.

I liked my T/A a lot although it was a money pit. I am actually htinking of getting 3rd gen T/A in the future and put LS1 with T56 in it.
That wouldn't be a near future though

Some of the 3rd gens I have seen can be made to look good.
It would kick ass with an LT1 or LS1 in it...

All Black- 83, 87, 02 All WS6 T/As
They might not be as bad ass as LS1s.. but for the 400 I spent on the engine and flywheel... I can stick a lot of money into a 383 kit( which I plan to) and get better heads, etc.. for the price of a stock ls1... LT1s are VERY capable of 10s.. have a couple in the group here..

Thanks man
Here's a high res pic from that set of pictures:
That picture was taken about two or so years ago, just after it was washed. Unfortunately it's a daily driver... So since then it has suffered many rock chips, the lower front clip being bashed by shitty roads in Athens (think going too fast and the road goes: level->dip->steep incline), and it had been backed into three times by my parents: once in the rear bumper passenger side, once in the front driver side fender, and one dead on in the front. Also being a college I don't get a good chance to clean it. So unfortunately it looked ragged as hell, like a coked up hooker after 20 years on the street, which is a shame because it was a real clean car to begin with.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
That's your problem. You need a BLACK 3rd gen like mine. You know what they say: "Once you go black you never go back".
