Sport trac for me is "ok" at best.

What can you really fit in the bed of it? Nothing of any real size. I would get a real truck over that thing. Two of my friends have them and they are capable vehicles but not great. For about the same price you can find a full-size or a midsize truck. Those are expensive and I am not sure why. Ugly, cant hold a lot, not a lot of interior room, not a lot of power, and the bed is very tiny. Good for women or those who only put little shit in the back.

Thats my experience with them. Not bad vehicles though, I will say that. Just for someone wanting a truck-line usage its not the vehicle for you.

    Werd!

I've seen a ton of coolant leak issues due to the thrmostat housings being made of a cheaper plastic like some of the newer dodge avenger/nito/caliber etc with the 2.4L. Also ran across the upper and lower intake manifolds warping over time on the Sport Trac's.

my 0.02's is I would shy away from it if possible and find something with a little better background/longevity.

They are great vehicles, especially when you want a Explorer without the hatch. As a truck, they arent trucks.

If you want a truck, go GM or Ford fullsize. The Sport tracs are more for women who need 4x4 and space to haul more than what you can fit in a hatch.

    They are great vehicles though.
