Thinking of selling the GTO for a lowered Silverad

is there any good information on lowering Silverado's?

what do they drive like? I'm getting more into trackday's on the GSXR and I need something more usefull than my GTO. (towing, moving people etc)

I'd like an extended cab/quad cab, 2wd, lowered, shortbed.

Can you get acceptable gas mileage with say the 5.3 and 3.08 gears? (over 20hwy mpg?)

I have an 06 GTO impulse blue/blue leather, 6spd, 18's, all stock with 13,500 miles.

At this point I'm really just trying to gather information.

DONT do it. I have many friends who traded their cars for trucks and got right back into another sports car. My buddy mike, Evo -> F-150 -> STI in a matter of 3 months. Hang on to the car unless you need a truck

just go buy a beater truck.... btw a lowered truck sucks when it comes to towing a heavy load

What about a trailer for the gto? Then you could haul everything you need and still have it for around town.
