    Thinking of moving to Texas.

I am getting sick and tired of the Tri-State area (NY/NJ/CT). Thinking of possibly moving out probably within 3-4 years.

What city is good for a New Yorker? I would have to be with in 30 minutes of any huge hospital facility for a X-ray/ CT technologists job.

    What do you guys recommend?

No, I don't want to move in with Sarge.

Charlotte nc is nice for the hospitals they have several really big ones, and you have the city life but at the same time drive like 30 mins to an hour and have country life to. Just my 2 cents

Dallas.... I live like 20-30 minutes away from like 6 huge hospitals.

Parkland Hospital, Childrens Hospital, St. Paul, Medical City, RHD, and Baylor. There are probably more but these are the ones we have sign contracts with.

FSANE, have you ever sat in a car with the AC on full blast and still kept sweating from the sun beaming in like a fucking science fiction movie where the sun never goes down? Consider that before moving south.

Its not that bad in Texas, maybe Arizona. In texas the summer is hot but the AC on med is good enough to keep cool. Plus in the South you can drive your car all year round.

Arizona is hotter but it's a dry heat, like 10% max humidity. Some parts of Texas are as bad as any other Southern state for humidity.
