Thinking about selling the Mustang...

I never keep cars long & always want something else/more. I'm too fickle.

Part of the reason for maybe selling is my new gun hobby & buying a house this year if I ever find one I want. I can afford the house if I keep the car.

I don't drive the car much & with no a/c (deleted) I don't see myself driving it much this summer. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to drive & when I get to hit the juice down the track it's a blast, but the amount of use I get out of it + the rising fuel costs (Yes, I can afford to gas her up) are annoying me.

Even if I sold it I bet I'd end up looking for another 5.0 6 months from now.

Bleh I suck.

Easy. put a 5 spd in there or even a t56 swap, some 3.73 gears and put a/c back in. Problem solved. Your problem is you bought a 5.0 that is too race oriented.

I don't want a 5 speed. I already have a 6 speed car.

It has 3.73 gears & a C4 w/a manual valve body. I want an auto in my race car.

It has nothing to do w/how it's setup. I get this way with everything.

I'm selling my 'bird, so I know what you're going through. I KNOW i can afford to keep it, but the extra money I get out of it I can pay off the Harley. I'm selling the truck too, even though its a great machine. Both vehicles are essentially two seaters and I'm always the guy who rides with other people to go places. Not anymore though. Just signed the dotted line on an 05 Ram quadcab shortbox.
