    Thinking About Getting XM Radio

I have a Pioneer CD receiver in my car that is XM ready. I would like to get XM radio in my car but I don't really know how to do it. Do I just buy a kit like this http://shop.xmradio.com/detail.aspx?pid=89&cat=8 and then plug it into my cd player or something? I know I'll need a subscription also. Thanks.

my wife bought a Delphi Roady 2 that you can take in and out of any car and it was only like $30. I drive over 60 miles one way to work so this thing has been VERY well worth it. It has 3 comedy channels and i pretty much flip between that and squizz (rock station). Kind of keeps my mind off of the long drive. $12/mo is what i pay and i get somewhere around 120 channels, definitely recommend it man

    Mexican killed my car

Personally i like Sirius better. When i was first thinking of getting one or the other i listened to both, looked at the channel guides, and did some research on both. On alot of forums guys that were really into rock music that got XM were taking it back and getting sirius instead. If you get a FM modulator one it doesn't matter if your radio is "xm or sirius ready" because it doesn't plug into it and they make an adapter chord that will mate an fm modulator one directly up to any headunit and make it sound crystal clear.

Whatever you chose though will be a million times better than shitty FM radio.

    Sat radio rocks!

u'll need the xm tuner and the antenna. hook the tuner into your head unit. here's what you will need. its very simple. you can do it.

I've been thinking about getting XM myself, Its that or a Ipod that plugs into my cd player. I get sick of burning cds... then they get scratched up and any skipping on my cds makes me flip out and throw them out the window
