    thinkin about gettin a bike

nothing too crazy, it'll be the first time i ever have a bike, or even ride one. well i'm gonna get some training of some kind first then i'll look at gettin one. i'm leaning more towards something like a harley, something i can just take out and cruise around on, not a pocket rocket that i'll kill myself on. but i would consider some kinda pocket rocket that isn't too insane for a first bike. what would you guys recommend? it'll be something used, so whats a good price? i've seen some 2000's and things around that year that are around $5000.

To be honest with you, and a lot of people will agree with me on this, the best bike you can start out with as a beginner is japanese and has a 1300cc enigne.

lol! I think a busa is a lil much. A kawasaki ninja 250 would be a good beginner bike. The 08 actully looks pretty good... MSRP is only 3499

Just a lil? I think a great deal more than that

What you said with the ninja is correct however the OP seems to want more of a harley style bike...

Yes to pussy magnet, any bike gets pussy. Like hardleys get toothless saggy roast beef pussy with a yeast infection for example

if that thing only cost around 3400 brand new, then im ready to start shopping and planning for it. plus i wanna take some classes to get familiar with riding. this will probably be my toy to tide me over until i can get another trans am or formula. then double the pussy magnetism,

I currently own a 2005 ttr90, 2003 DRZ110, 2005 Yz125, and my 2004 CBR600rr. I have bought all of them with my own money. What do you have? And bandit95 a new 600rr will run you about 10,000 bucks.

I'm just wondering how you got the idea that anyone was questioning your skill as a rider?

yea but i dont have a whole lotta money. gotta get rid of some debt, and 3-4k will be just right for a good bike to get started with and cruise around on. maybe 5-7k but that just 250 looks too sweet for a new bike at that price.
